I Will Call These Amps "Mini Me"
Sean wrote a little bit about the new JL Audio amps, but they had a great display comparing some of their existing amps to the new HD amps. All of the amps in the picture put out about the same amount of power (600 watts). As you can see, small amps are the next big thing, and it really seemed to be a theme at this year's CES.

If all the amps put out the same amount of power, what is the difference between all these models? Heat dissipation? Sound quality? Mini is great, if it really is everything good about full sized in a smaller package.

Maybe the number of outputs? If you look at the larger pic the bottom amp is 1000x1, the next up is 450x4. The top one looks like a 2 way amp and the next down looks like a four or five way amp judging by the connections on the left side.

So what can RC provide in the future? As I’ ve said, I no longer feel the necessity to respond to the“ Christopher Moncktons” or“ Inhofes” of the world, as if they had something important to say. Rather, discussing the latest details of peer- reviewed documents (and even trying to promote more guest posts from experts in their area), and perhaps the occasional technical post (that means maths!) would be great to read. Keeping up with what is going on at the year 2009, such as status reports on the AR5 or...
