If You Want Something Done Right...

I’ve been a huge fan of Image Dynamics for almost as long as I've been into car audio. I used to go to all the Sound Quakes in Southern California, and even had pictures of ID owner Eric Steven’s car with speakers in the kick panels and door, before he installed horns in it.

So I dropped by their booth to see what was up and I stumbled across their new line of Q amplifiers.  I’ve always been a fan of clean-and-simple designs without a lot of bling, and these amps were just that. When asked why they were making amps, Jim responded that they wanted something as good as their speakers and couldn’t find anyone to make it for them—so they made it themselves. Considering how good their speakers and subs are, the amps will probably do well. They are available in 4 (4 x 75 at 4 ohms), 2 (2 x 175 at 4 ohms) and 1 (1 x 1200 at 1 ohm) varieties.

Lovely looking amplifiers, but isn't it bad enough the most amps are made in China nad now these are coming from Korea?
