Kenwood & Fishman's Impeccable 56 Chevy
Dave "Fishman" Rivera and Kenwood teamed up to build this bad-ass Bel-Air. The 56 Chevy's sapphire blue and metallic nimbus gray paint was a great combo, and the suicide doors looked like they belonged on this classic. The interior treatment was especially trick, and very "Fish", but not over-the-top. The design was very clean and tasteful and matched the retro-modern flair of the exterior nicely. Blue and gray leather accented with gray suede covered the interior, and Fish's floor treatment was particularly impressive. He fabricated a custom-molded, vinyl-wrapped floor with carpet inserts, integrated the kick panels, and color-matched the gas and brake pedal. It's a "minor" detail, but when you see it, it really pulls everything together.
The car was a showcase for Kenwood's KOS-V1000 CarPortal system,
which is basically a high-end remote-mount car stereo system perfect
for OEM integration, hide-away, or custom installs. Fish and crew
stuffed a disassembled 10" Kenwood screen in a dark metallic gray custom dash that was so clean, it almost looked factory. A custom center console with trick billet aluminum arm rests was fabricated and a remote control and Kenwood 7" touchscreen were flushed into the console to control the KOS system. A host of Kenwood amps, subs, and components were also integrated beautifully. Check out the gallery of pics after the jump as well as a complete system list.

*note* The trunk also had a really trick motorized rack that came up out of the spare tire well. Every time we went to get a shot of it, the crowd was too large for a good pic. If anybody has a pic they'd like to donate to cause, we'll throw it up! Contact veedubb8 in the SoundDomain forums.

my son who is about to get his license would do anything for this car. It's his background on his computor and for some reason he loves the old chevy to a new one. Some day this will be his dream, he is a national swimmer and wants to be in the next olympics. He has already broke the all time record in the mile for anyone in the united states for the mile at the age of 14. He is presently going to swim against the best in the united states in june for the world team. This car is beautiful.

i personally worked on this car with Fish. I was the one he went to and said i need bad ass colors for this thing. You would not believe all the polishing on some of those parts, i had black polish particles all over my face..My friend and i were the detailers for this ride and made sure it was wiped down at every moment.Fish is a truely gifted man and blew me away with the integration he did. Glad all of you like the car....working 28 hours then driving to vegas for CES was a loooong yet once in a lifetime trip.

Sapphire blue is my favorite color. its got to be one of the deep ones though like this one. the shine is perfect dose anyone know who makes the color for this car? or is it custom blend? been looking for a color for 6 years and this is what it got narrowed down too.
