You're My Boy Blue!
I wasn't sure what to think when I first the front of this car in the RCA booth. It had a BMW grille and head lights, but something just didn't add up. Turns out its Honda Civic with a ton of custom fabrication to make it stand out in the custom show car arena. The owner did an amazing amount of work - brand new dash, new interior, fiberglass trunk -just about every inch has been customized. I almost would have assumed it was a BMW except the polished lump under the hood clearly sported the Honda logo. Overall, the work is pretty top notch, and the owner did a pretty good job making his car stand out, but I'd imagine it made a few BMW die-hards wince. Check out the rest of the pics after the break.

There is a lot of stupid stuff in/on that car. But the color is amazing.

And the #1 comment overheard at the show, I'm sure, was
"With all that extra work, he could have bought an M3".
Seriously, with all th extra weight, I'll bet that thing does zero to sixty in 25 seconds! I know its not meant to be a streetable car really, but to me that detracts from personality of the car. I'm sure that bottle of nitrous is there for when he encounters anything steeper than a 2 degree grade :)

Reminds me of the cars from the Civic Nation commercials:) This car should be in the next commercial:) I'm sure it made BMW guys freak, but you cant deny the amount of skill it takes to hand fabricate a car like this. Much more than a Civic, it becomes a work of art like a prototype car.
