Zapco Brings the Bling
The guys at Zapco always bring their A game to CES when it comes to show vehicles, and this year was no different. They had a great looking Mercedes Benz SL500 created by Jeff Smith over at Audio Designs of Atlanta, a sliver Mercedes Benz convertible done by the guys at Autosport and a World Championship winning silver Acura TL belonging to MECA competitor, Kirk Proffitt.
The White SL500 had a trick subwoofer enclosure hidden in the passenger side floorboards under the dash, with an amp rack mounted in the trunk. Once the floormat was moved up, the subwoofer was hidden with minimal loss in leg room. The Acura had a crazy Zapco logo in the trunk, with the amplifiers mounted in the spare tire well (I didn't get to see the inside of the car, they were busy giving demos the few times I walked by). The silver Mercedes had a similar amp rack in the trunk outlined with the company's logo.
