MTX MMA Fighter Advances to The Ultimate Fighter 7
While at CES we got a chance to check out MTX's MMA fighters. If you've never checked this stuff out, these guys are harder than nails and meaner than a rabid pit bull on steroids. Spike TV has a pretty popular reality show featuring some of the top fighters (I'm sure most of you have seen it), and now CB Dollaway, one of MTX's sponsored fighters, has made the cut and will appear in the upcoming 7th season. (Phoenix, AZ) - MTX Audio, the leader in high performance mobile audio products, is proud to announce that MTX MMA fighter, C.B. Dollaway, has earned a spot on The Ultimate Fighter 7. The reality show series kicked off Wednesday, April 2nd with a fiery new format designed to raise the bar of the hit show on Spike TV.
Each week, fight fans watch as UFC light heavyweight champion, Quinton ”Rampage” Jackson, and number one contender, Forrest Griffin, coach the top up-and-coming middleweights in mixed martial arts as they compete for a UFC contract and recognition as The Ultimate Fighter. C.B. Dollaway (6-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC), a freestyle fighter out of Arizona Combat Sports in Tempe, AZ and a member of the MTX MMA Fight Team, will be battling his way to the top with 31 other middleweight fighters competing in tournament-style competition. In the first episode of the season, all 32 combatants went head to head to stay on the show. 16 fighters were eliminated in the first day and the other 16 will stay on the show to compete for the coveted UFC contract. In this episode, C.B. makes his presence felt in the UFC by defeating David Baggett (4-2) with a powerful display of leg kicks, elbows, and strikes that drives Baggett to the ground. Dollaway made quick work of Baggett and impressed the coaches and UFC President, Dana White.
With this opportunity, Dollaway is focused on making a name for himself in the UFC. Over 1.7 million viewers tuned into the first episode of The Ultimate Fighter 7 where they were treated to the insightful confessions and dominating performance of C.B. Dollaway. Dollaway is supported by MTX Audio as a member of the MTX MMA Fight Team. His appearance on the show will establish Dollaway as a household name and with a few wins, C.B. could potentially solidify a fight contract within the UFC where he will represent MTX Audio. With 6 previous seasons under its belt, The Ultimate Fighter 7 looks to be the best season yet. With millions tuning in to see who will be the next UFC superstar, people are already watching intently and hoping to see C.B.’s hand raised high in victory. The Ultimate Fighter 7 airs on Spike TV on Wednesday nights at 10PM EST.
