I Want That: Visuallogic Headreat Monitors

I Want That, Vizuologic, Al & Ed's Autosound

Mr Mobile is back again, and this time the guys from Al & Ed's are showing off headrest monitors from Vizuologic. Now, when you think headrest monitors, most of us picture a factory hearest with a 6" or 7" screen cut and mounted into the factory cloth or leather. Most of the time, if done' properly, this can look pretty cool. However, if your buddy installer hacks his way through it, or it's your first time, you could end up with lop-sided monitors or worse, a saggy headrest with stuffing poking out the edges.

So what are your other options? How about a set of monitors from Visuallogic? The screens come beautifully pre-installed and the the leather or cloth matches your factory material to a tee. And the best part? When you go to sell your car later in life, you can return your car to stock and replace the Visuallogic solutions with your old factory headrest.

Check out the video after the jump and find out how you can win a set of Vizuologic headrest monitors for you car (a $1700 value!!)

I Want That: Kenwood DNX8120

Kenwood DNX8120, I Want That, Al & Ed's Autosound, Whipnotic

Out of all the blogs we've posted since the site relaunch in January, none have been more popular than our coverage on Kenwood's amazing DNX8120. And for good reason - it is one of the most feature-packed, easy-to-use multimedia navigation radios on the market, and it looks really great in just about any dash.
This week Al & Ed's decided this should be the focus for their installment of "I Want That", and Mr. Mobile breaks down what makes this radio so cool, and they even give you a chance to win one! Want to learn more? Follow the jump and check out the video!

I Want That: Prestige Security

I Want That, Al & Ed's Autosound, Whipnotic, Prestige Alarm Remote Start

In this week's "I Want That" installment, Mr. Mobile tempts our gadget appetites with a taste of the Prestige XRO9100 alarm/remote start convenience system. Probably the most obvious cool factor with this system is the OLED-equipped two-way paging remote. The remote provides system status information as well as command confirmation when you tell it do something. If you've remote started the car, it tells you. If you attempted to remote start the car, and it fails, the remote tells you. If your alarm was tripped while you were away, the remote tells you what zone was triggered. And that's only the tip of the iceberg. And the fact that it uses an OLED display means it's easily readable in sunlight, and it uses less energy than a same-sized full color LCD. Get more details on the system, as well as info on how you can win one of these full-featured systems, after the jump!

Al & Ed's Hosts "The Ultimate Lamborghini Experience"

On June 4th Al & Ed's Autosound hosted an event that most of us would give our left pinkie toe to participate in - The Ultimate Lamborghini Experience. The event took place at the California Speedway and was co-sponsored by Lamborghini of Beverly Hills. The event included a racing technical classroom experience, racing instruction by celebrity race car drivers, and time on the track behind the wheel of some of the most amazing supercars to ever lay rubber to asphalt.

I Want That: Sound Upgrade

I Want That, Al & Ed's Autosound, Whipnotic.com

One thing that I see more and more of these days at the various shows I attend is that stealthy installs are making a comeback. Sure, flashy fiberglass and custom aluminum or steel amp racks and uber-trick custom installs are extrememly cool, but I've always been a fan of keeping it low-key and simple-looking (although simple-looking does not always mean that the install was low-cost or easy). However, the whole point of swapping out your factory sound components comes down to one thing - OE equipment sucks. True, it's getting better and better every year, but there is always room to improve. OE sound systems are designed for the general public, not the enthusiast. In this installment of "I Want That", Mr. Mobile explains how you can keep your factory look while keeping a factory look, without breaking the bank. Oh yeah, and can win a $1000 gift certificate to upgrade your own sound system as well! All the details are available after the jump.
