
The Kenwood double-DIN DNX7100 was one of the most popular in-dash navigation radios last year, and the new Excelon DDX8120 is basically a 7100 on steroids. Like the 7100, the 8120 features a built-in Garmin GPS flashed-based navigation system, and built-in 12-volt switches for controlling things like your remote garage door opener, airbag switches, or auxiliary lighting right from the radio's 6.95" touchscreen. The 8120 is also satellite radio and HD radio ready and features two USB interfaces for porting in MP3s from USB devices. So what can Kenwood do to improve on this impressive feature set?
