Video: Alpine's Million Dollar Demo Car, Pt. 3

With 12 weeks left to go before CES, part three of the "Alpine Imprint RLS Million Dollar Car Build" has the Alpine crew build out the metal skeleton for the the body panels and start laying down the glass. We also get to see them tackle the amazing interior panel by panel. I saw the car in person at CES when it debuted, and I've watched the videos over and over again, and I am still amazed. The Alpine crew truly are magicians. The final episode "1 Week to CES" will run this Sunday, so stay tuned!

Video: Alpine's Million Dollar Demo Car, Pt. 2

In part 2 of the Alpine Imprint RLS Million Dollar Car Build series, the guys at Alpine start getting down and dirty with the RL. The metal framework for the interior and exterior are laid down, the wide body starts to take shape, and and the HUGE wheels are test fitted. When you see the amount of work it took to complete this project, it really amazes me that the guys were able to knock it out in just 18 week. Amazing.

Alpine's Million Dollar Demo Car, Pt. 1

Gary Bell over at Alpine complied some great videos showing the build of their million dollar demo car, the Imprint RLS. The RLS started out life as a standard Mercedes-Benz RL, but after 18 weeks in the hands of the Alpine crew, the car was transformed into one of the most amazing demo cars in mobile electronics history.

Below you'll find Part One in a four-part series as the guys at Alpine take you from "day one" to the final debut at the 2007 CES show in Las Vegas. Here you get to see the delivery of the stock RL and then play witness as the crew tears it down, removing every single exterior and interior panel to begin the prep and planning for this amazing demo.
