Mobile Edge Muscles-Up a Mustang's Audio System

The guys at Mobile Edge are known for killer installs and awesome customer service, so it's no surprise that this Mustang's owner, Curt DeLong, is a repeat customer. Curt is stationed over in Afghanistan but while home on leave decided to drop his 2007 Mustang off at Mobile Edge for some audio upgrades. The crew installed a slew of Memphis gear, but at first glance you'd never guess his audio system was aftermarket. That's my kind of install!

Mobile Edge added a set of Memphis MCSYNC8 components that feature 8" woven Kevlar woofers and separate tweeters. However, they also installed a pretty trick speaker solution for the handsfree Bluetooth mobile phone kit, but you'll have to follow the story over at Mobile Edge for those details.

My News Years Resolution was to Lose Weight

The new S-Class series from Memphis is another line to jump on the latest "Thin-is-In" craze.  The amps are, available in three different power ratings (a 55x4, a 120x2 and a 500x1 mono block), are stackable and measure a mere 10.51" x 1.91" x 8.66".  All controls are on one side to make installation a snap. 

In addition to the amps, Memphis also released some thin line subwoofers under the S-Class line as well. These subs require 3" of mounting depth or less and come in 4 models (single 4 ohm and dual 4 ohm voice coil models in 10" or 12" diameters), and feature a composite cone and basket.
