Kid Fails Driving Test 5 Times In One Day
Starting July 1st (that was yesterday), California and Washington state join New Jersey, Connecticut, New York, the Virgin Islands, and Washington DC on the quest to make the roads a safer place by outlawing talking on a cellphone while driving without the use of a hands-free device like a Bluetooth headset or hands-free kit. Honestly, it makes perfect sense to me and I support this law. I don't think it will completely solve the problem of driver distraction caused by cell phones, but it should help considerably. You can't fix stupid, but you can help it.
To help get the point across that we need to make the roads safer, Bluetooth accessory manufacturer, Parrot, put together some pretty funny videos starring "Johnny", a young kid with a love for talking on his cellphone.... seriously, it's a priority for him. See what happens when Johnny takes his mobile phone addiction and gets behind the wheel with five different driving instructors!
