Orion 40 Mercury Sled by Syndicate Automotive
To showcase their HCCA line, Orion commissioned Syndicate Automotive to build a demo car, and they didn't disappoint. Their crack team of customizers breathed new life into this 1940 Ford Mercury by outfitting it with a Ford Motorsport 302, a Ford C4 tranny, a custom airbag chassis by David Chappeles, and Mooneye hubcaps. In order to maintain a stock appearance, the original radio was left intact, and a Pioneer DEH-P9600 was hidden in the glove box, though some custom kickpanels were fabbed. In the trunk, a single 12" HCCA subwoofer and a pair of HCCA amps were mounted flush to maintain the stock look. We've got more pics of this classic after the jump.
